In the beginning... (1973) Garcia Associates started it's company by doing subcontractor work for Anthony Pools, which later became Anthony & Sylvan Pools. As Anthony Pools gained confidence in our ability to perform and get the job done, our responsibilities increased, this confidence reigned until Anthony Pools cut back and brought all operations in-house. Now it was their turn. The company proliferated and found other pool companies that were eager to acquire our talents of service, repair and construction. During the "RAGING 80's" our company expanded to a fleet of 18 vehicles with a staff of 32 people. Unfortunately, as you can probably remember, 1987 had a stock market crash. This crash stopped all businesses from flourishing. Everyone took a long hard look at business and refocused their efforts, trimmed the fat & worked on being a leaner business machine. Garcia Associates was no exception. In looking at the whole business profile, we saw the emergence of the electronic age in the recreational water business. In 1980, they installed their first spa with Griff Creek Controls. Griff Creek was the first computer control center available for spa installations. This spa is still in operation today in West Caldwell, New Jersey. After that successful endeavor a decision was made to go after the spa and therapy market. Again the other pool companies embraced their endeavors and assisted in the company's growth. Manufacturers from the industry also breathed a sigh of relief, for the industry in New Jersey, finally had acquired a company dedicated to professionalism based on integrity, continuity, education, honesty, and efficiency. |
Now, in 2022, as Sunrise Aqua Electronics. We still hold true to the same ethics & professionalism as we did then, but have decided to concentrate on being mostly a Warranty & Non-Warranty Service & Repair Company.
